In this bleak time the four greatest and noblest warbands came together with the Clerics of the Gods at a great moot. Four Noble captains swore to the gods service in response to the threat posed by the dark forces and the four great knight orders were formed from the purest of their number.
The following campaigns were the bloodiest conflicts ever to break upon the land with horrific bloody battles waged with both blade and magic. After years of war the armies drew up for a final conflict upon the grounds surrounding the fallen city of Skethis. The Knight orders finally brought down the foe with a terrible cost in blood and nobility. Ever more are battle sites cursed by the dark blood spilled upon that barren ground.
What remained of the four orders were a mere fraction of their former glory and returned to their respective ancestral homes of the now Grand knights Marshals to survive the famine and plagues that ravaged the land on the heels of the war. over the following centuries the orders have cemented the pledges made to the gods so long ago in the noble orders prominent in the world today.
Based in the ancient citadel of Kasrek in the cold fastness of the northern marches dwell the order of knights - The Order of Verdias.
Under the watchful guidance of the orders Grand Knights Marshal Sir Hector, the order strives against the many foes that flow across the mountainous regions of the northern marches and its order has proven itself to be some of the greatest warriors ever to grace the continent of Panagaia
