Dispel magic
Magic to dispel a spell in effect on an area, individual or item.
Material component- Plain parchment (Major spell)
While chanting and concentrating their efforts on the target on completion tear the parchment in two and vocals ending in “I Dispel that Magic/Spell/Effect”
Minor healing
Laying on hands to knit the wounds of minor cuts and abrasions together and restore a wound to that location and restoring it to use.
Material component- clean water and cloth bandages (Minor spell)
Restores one hit to the location and stops blood loss. This spell can be used to stop a critical wound from bleeding out and giving the target a chance of survival till better healing becomes available
Mend Bone
Laying on hands to pull the bones back together no matter how shattered and mangled they may be - the benefit in magical healing is they will keep the limb. Still an incredibly painful process taking a full count of 30 to knit all the bones together.
Material component- A short stick rapped in cloth (fetish) (Major spell)
While chanting over the effected limb, place the stick over the wound and break it in two. This in effect transfers the break to the fetish. Mend bone does not stop bleeding or heal the wound but simply mends the bone.
Purge poisons
Laying on hands the magic pulls weak to serious poisons from the body and neutralises the effects of the victim, removing fevers and stops vomiting and death.
Material component- Clean fresh water (Major spell)
Chanting over the victim and slowly feeding them the fresh water the magic slowly neutralises poisons effecting one individual. Some poisons are beyond this spell but it can slow the effects of major poisons.
Restore Limb
Laying on hands to pull the bones back together and knits the muscle and tendons back together of a crippled limb (Not a severed or destroyed limb) - the benefit in magical healing is they will regain the limb or organ. Still an incredibly painful process taking a full count of 60 to knit all the bones together and start the healing process, a regrown limb or organ will be usable after a full hour but will remain weakened for a full day.
Material component- Clay (Major spell)
While chanting over the effected limb, mould the clay into the shape of the effected limb or organ over the wound and place on the body. The healed recipient must keep the fetish until they are fully healed or the wound may deteriorate. Restore limb returns the limb or body to one hit.
Dispel curse
Magic to dispel a curse in effect on an area, individual or item.
Material component- mirror (Minor spell)
While chanting and concentrating their efforts and holding the reflection on the target for a slow count of 30, on completion with vocals ending in “I dispel that Curse”. Some curses are simply too powerful to be simply dispelled but this spell can keep a powerful curse in check for short periods.
Major heal
Laying on hands to knit the wounds of Major cuts and damage together and restore a wounds to the body and restoring it them to health.
Material component- Holy water and cloth bandages (Major spell)
Laying on hands and chanting, takes a slow count of 60 to take effect and will be disrupted if stopped in mid chant. Restores all hits to all locations and stops blood loss. This spell can be used to stop a critical wound. This will not restore a limb or mend bones.
Protection from evil
Will push away and keep creatures of evil intent 10ft away from around the caster while the spell is in effect.
Material component- Focus (Staff/Relic/etc) (Minor spell)
While intoning a chant and holding the focus above their heads to actively repel creatures of evil away from the caster and protecting the caster from harm. Spell lasts until the caster stops chanting. While in effect the caster can not be harmed by evil creatures and no evil may approach within 10ft.
Example of Epic spell rituals can be the restoration of a severed or destroyed limb and removal of more powerful curses or disease.
